Funded by the Government, the project will enable secure digital issuance and storage of land titles, faster processing of transactions, and online access for stakeholders. It aims as well to formalise over 350,000 parcels of land, unlocking economic value and strengthening property rights.
“We are not just digitising land titles; we are modernising Jamaica’s future,” said Cheriese Walcott, CEO of the National Land Agency (NLA).
The contract was executed by Fujitsu Caribbean (Jamaica) Limited in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation and the NLA. Implementation will be carried out in collaboration with Innola Solutions, Inc., the technology vendor, alongside its partners Sidwell (Canada) and GMTech (Jamaica), who bring specialised expertise in geospatial technologies, land information systems, and digital transformation.
Implementation begins immediately, with full rollout expected by 2027–2028, following legislative updates.
